Easter Egg Hunt for a Good Cause
Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016 at 10:30am
How it Works:
Children will collect eggs numbered 1 - 12 as usual, but inside each egg will be “St. B’s Bucks” that they can then donate to a charity dedicated to children and families. In exchange for the donation the children will receive a surprise to take home!
After the children have collected their eggs, they will drop their “St. B’s Bucks” Into one of three jars representing non-profit charities that help children and families. The paper money will later be replaced with real money and donated to those charities. Each child gets to choose how much of their “St. B’s Bucks” they want to donate and how they want to divide it up between the charities.
The three charities are: Path To Shine®, Family Promise, and Episcopal Relief & Development Gifts for Life
Please bring a pair of good egg-hunting shoes, and a basket or bag to collect your eggs.
We will gather in the Outdoor Classroom in the upper parking lot and then proceed to the playground for the hunt.
