Safeguarding God's Children Training

St. Benedict's will be offering the in-person Safeguarding God's Children Training in the parish hall on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm. Safeguarding God's Children (SGC) is a training program for child sexual abuse awareness. The program provides participants information they need to protect the children they know and care for in their personal lives and in the ministries in which they serve. The Diocese of Atlanta requires the following people to take the training: All clergy, staff, and vestry members, as well as all persons who teach, supervise, or assist with supervising children or youth ministries.
