Friends of St. Benedict's Music exists to enhance the congregational life of the parish of St. Benedict's Episcopal Church and the community of greater Atlanta through the offering of musical events ​and opportunities including:

• financial support of concerts and performances beyond the scope of the regular operating budget.

• receptions for visiting choirs and performers

• sponsorship of the Choral Scholar and Student Intern program that provides college students seeking a degree in music hands-on training in the areas of chant, anthem selection, proper vocal pedagogy and methods for children and conducting gestures.
